Digital Marketing Audit
For growing businesses, nonprofits and e-commerce brands
Find out what to fix first.
Akoya Creative is a women-owned digital marketing agency in Rockland, Maine. Our marketing audit gives you an honest look at what's working, what's wasting money, and the handful of changes that will matter most.
We work with teams across Maine, New England and the U.S., and we look at your marketing as one system, not five separate channels.
Who it's for
Is a marketing audit right for you?
Most teams we audit aren't starting from zero. They're already spending time and money and want to know where it's paying off.
01
You're spending, but not sure what's working
Ads, email and a website all running, with no clear answer to which ones bring in customers.
02
Your marketing grew in pieces
A tool here, a freelancer there. Now it's hard to see how it all fits together, or where the gaps are.
03
You're about to invest more
Before you hire, raise your ad budget or rebuild the site, you want to know where the next dollar does the most good.
What's included
What we look at
Every audit is scoped to the channels you actually use, so you never pay for a review of something you don't do.
Website and conversion path
How visitors move from landing to inquiry or purchase, and where they drop off.
Tracking and analytics
GA4, Tag Manager and conversion tracking. Can you trust the numbers you make decisions with?
SEO and AI search
What you rank for, what you're missing, technical health, and how clearly search engines and AI tools understand your business.
Email and SMS
Klaviyo flows, segments, list health and deliverability, and whether email is pulling its weight. See our email and Klaviyo services.
Paid media
Google and Meta account structure, targeting, spend efficiency and the landing pages your ads send people to.
Positioning and offer
Whether your message is clear, specific and aimed at the customers you actually want.

FAQs
Questions we hear a lot
How is this different from a free audit tool?
Free tools flag issues. They can't tell you which ones matter for your business or how your channels affect each other. We look at your goals, your data and your customers, then tell you what to do first and why.
Why does it take 3 to 6 weeks?
It depends on how many channels we review and how quickly access comes through. A focused audit of one or two channels lands at the shorter end; a full review of everything takes longer.
Who does the audit?
Carly Hopps, Akoya's founder, leads every audit, with specialist support where it's needed.
What access do you need?
View access to the accounts you use, like Google Analytics, Search Console, Google and Meta ads, and Klaviyo. We send a step-by-step checklist, and you stay the owner of every account.
Do I have to hire you after the audit?
No. The plan is yours to use however you like. Some teams run with it in-house, some bring us on to help, and some use it to brief another partner.
Do you only work with Maine businesses?
We're based in Rockland, Maine and love working with Maine and New England businesses, but audits happen over video, so we work with teams across the U.S.
